Sleep Disorders

Helping patients overcome the potentially devestating effects of sleep disorders

Adequate, high quality sleep is absolutely critical to our physical, emotional and psychological well-being. Yet according to the National Center on Sleep Disorders Research, 25% of Americans have sleep problems, and one half of these - or 35 million people - suffer from a full-blown sleeping disorder. Unfortunately, as many as 95% go undiagnosed.

The effects of untreated sleep disorders are both serious and wide-ranging. Loud, chronic snoring can cause sleep deprivation for bed partners and create tension in the home. Sleep apnea can lead to serious health problems such as stroke and heart attack. Sleep disorders can also impair your performance on the job and put you at greater risk for auto accidents.

As the first independent practice in the region to be fully accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, Pacific Sleep Program brings you a level of care that is truly punsurpassed. Dr. Rich and his team thoroughly assess each patient for the full range of sleep disorders, and provide treatments tailored to their individual needs.
