OTHER SCREENING TESTS

Where the consultation indicates a significant likelihood of serious sleep disorder, one of the above tests will be needed. However, there are situations in which more limited testing of sleep is quite valuable. Examples include the assessment of socially disruptive snoring before treatment or periodic re-examination to be certain the sleep apnea therapy being administered is still effective. PSP also offers this type of testing, completed at home, using equipment whose accuracy has been verified in our own sleep center laboratory.
